Imperial Unified School District

 

Elvira Hernandez, elected in 2022, is serving her first term on the board. She is currently working on a Masters Degree in social work. She is also a coordinator of the ARC after school program in Calexico. Her present term expires in 2026. 

Jill Tucker, re-elected in 2022, is serving her fourth term on the Board. She is employed at Imperial Valley College. Ms. Tucker was previously employed as a physical education teacher in the Imperial Unified School District. Ms. Tucker's present term expires in 2026.

 

 

Geoff Holbrook, elected in 2024, is serving his first term on the board. Mr. Holbrook is a public agency attorney and currently serves as General Counsel for the Imperial Irrigation District. He has previously served as City Attorney for the City of Imperial and Assistant County Counsel for the County of Imperial. Mr. Holbrook is married and has four children, three of whom currently attend IUSD schools. His present term expires in 2028. 

 

Daniel Yee, elected in 2022, is serving his first term on the Board. He is currently employed at Calipatria State Prison as a teacher. Mr. Yee's term expires in 2026.
